Dr. Mackenzie joins the Board of the Breast Cancer Resource Center
The Santa Barbara NewsPress had this announcement in yesterday’s paper about my joining the Board of the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara. I’ve supported the BCRC for years, and am honored to now be on their Board! The BCRC is a great resource for women diagnosed with breast cancer in Santa Barbara. Check out their website here.

Dr. Douglas J. Mackenzie has joined the board of the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara. Dr. Mackenzie is a plastic surgeon at Pacific Plastic Surgery who opened his private practice in Santa Barbara in 2000. He is also a lieutenant colonel and serves as a flight surgeon in the Air National Guard. Dr. Mackenzie graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1989 and completed a general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in 1994. He trained at New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center in New York City and went to Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Ore., for a hand surgery fellowship. He stayed on as assistant professor in the division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
