Case 2: Tummy Tuck

59 year old female dance instructor had 40 pound weight loss and was bothered not only by her excess tissue on the front of her abdomen, but also around her waist and lower back. Although a belt lipectomy is a procedure usually done after massive weight loss following bariatric surgery, in this case, it gave her a better contour around her entire torso. She also had bilateral brachioplasty (see arm lift section). She had had 3 children, and was 5' 4", 155 lb. Sometimes scars will still be pigmented even years later. This can often be improved with topicals, laser, or IPL.
