BOTOX® and Dermal Fillers

BOTOX® injections and dermal fillers applied at our Santa Barbara plastic surgery center help to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Here at Pacific Plastic Surgery we do inject a lot of Botox and fillers. I do it, my nurse practitioner, my physician assistant do it as well. Botox is fantastic. People love Botox, what it does for their wrinkles and it is really the only thing we do that acts on the dynamic action of wrinkles. As far as fillers, that is a little bit different than Botox. Some people do not realize that, but fillers actually fill up. They provide volume and typically in the facial skin, under the nasolabial folds or perhaps in the lips to plump up the lips. We use different types of fillers include Juvéderm, Radiesse, and ArteFill. Each of these fillers has different qualities as far as how long they last, where they are best applied, and also how much they cost.
