Arm Lift Patient

Bilateral Brachioplasty (Arm Lift)

This 60 year-old female patient underwent a bilateral brachioplasty (arm lift) to address the sagging skin and bulky contour of her upper arms. During the procedure a total of 908 g of tissue was removed. Photos were taken a year and half after surgery. The technique placed the incision along the back of the upper arm, which has these advantages over a more traditional anterior position: 1) More discreet with most arm positions, 2) Better scar, 3) Holds the improvement longer with less tendency to spread and sag again.
