Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for Hair Restoration

Pacific Plastic Surgery is proud to announce PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) for hair restoration for men and women. PRP is a non-surgical therapeutic option for stimulation of hair growth. It has been shown to be an effective treatment in several types of alopecia[1] and thinning hair. PRP for hair restoration works by  stimulating follicular and perifollicular angiogenesis (growth of blood vessels), which are major factors in active hair growth[2]. Studies have shown high patient satisfaction and lasting results[3].

The procedure is simple. Your blood is drawn in our office similar to a routine blood testing. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge and the PRP is separated and removed from the rest of the blood. The highly concentrated platelet rich plasma (PRP) is then injected into the scalp. PRP contains many growth factors that stimulate the hair follicle’s growth. Because PRP is your body’s natural healing platelets it provides a safe and effective treatment for hair restoration.

PRP Hair Restoration Package

For maximum benefit and hair growth, we are recommending a bundled program of 4 PRP treatments, a Theradome laser, and 4 months supply of Nutroful hair growth supplement. Theradome is a FDA cleared biomedically designed laser to use at-home for the treatment of hair loss. Theradome uses laser technology to target stem cells at the base of hair follicles. This allows the formation of a new pathways that can restore hair to a healthy state. It is recommended to wear the Thermadome for at least two, 20-minute sessions per week. And finally, we are recommending  a 4- month supply of Nutrafol, a highly concentrated, clinically-tested botanical ingredients that strengthens your hair. By combining these three modalities, you can conquer hair loss safely, easily and effectively without surgery. For questions or inquiries call our office (805) 898-0700.
